Welcome to Active Minds!

We are an organisation run by Jenny King, who also runs the Sutton Bonnington Owls after school club. We offer quality childcare before and after school in the Surestart building at Brookside Primary School. Keep an eye on the posters in the windows to get an idea of the activities and crafts we do.

Our staff includes Linda Carroll, Sarah Woods-Flack and Keeley Shore in the mornings and who also work afternoon sessions along with Karen Graham. You will often see Jenny around as well. We also have volunteers and helpers.

You can make bookings by calling in any time the club is open or telephoning and leaving us a message on our answer phone on 01509 857033.
We also have a mobile so can also receive text messages on 07784 440615.

Our morning session is open from 7.30am to 8.50am. Children in the foundation unit are escorted to the classroom, older children are escorted to the playground. Breakfast is available for 50p. Our afternoon session is from 3.30pm to 6pm. The foundation children are collected from the classroom and we meet the rest of the children in the school library.

We are also open on inset days 7.30am to 6pm where you can book a whole day or half a day from 7.30am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 6pm but please ask if you have other requirements, as we will always do our best to meet your needs.

We work together with our sister organisation Owls Club to provide care during holidays.

Do remenber that we operate a 'pay as you go' system, so although we do have cancellation fees, you can just attend for odd sessions and you don't have to attend on the same days every week.

Please be assured that we are registered with Ofsted and provide the same high standards of childcare provision as you would expect.
