Welcome to Active Minds!

We are an organisation run by a committee of parents, but managed by Jenny King, who also runs the Sutton Bonnington Owls club after school club. We offer quality childcare before and after school in the old school building at Brookside Primary School. Keep an eye on the posters in the windows to get an idea of the activities and crafts that we do.

Our staff includes Mary Mathers and Linda Hopewell in the mornings and Mary Mathers, Karen Graham, Linda Carroll, Berni Roach in the afternoon. You’ll often see Jenny around as well.

You can make bookings either by downloading a form here (see forms), or by calling in any time the club is open. We are open from 7.30 to 8.50 mornings, and 3.30 to 6.00 in the afternoons. We are also open on inset days, and work together with our sister organisation Owls Club to provide care during holidays. Please ask for details.

Session fees are £3.50 for the morning, £7.50 for the afternoon, including a light tea, and £10 per session for morning or afternoon on inset days. The whole day sessions run from 7.30 to 12.30 and 12.30 to 6.00, but please ask if you have other requirements, as we will always do our best to meet your needs.

Do remember that we operate a ‘pay as you go’ system, so although we do have cancellation fees, you can just attend for odd sessions and you don’t have to attend on the same days every week.

Please be assured that we are registered with Ofsted and provide the same high standards of childcare provision as you would expect.
